ArcCona Conservation Travel:

ArcCona Conservation Travel aims to combine eco-tourism and nature tours with conservation. It will enable participants to actively engage in conservation work. Most of ArcCona’s conservation projects are focussed around the Spoon-billed Sandpiper and naturally most conservational travels aim at destinations in Russia, Myanmar and Bangladesh. The main focus is on Asia and Russia in particular. We also include Nepal and Western Russia with different conservation projects. The conservation work depends on the project but ranges from monitoring work to guardian breeding sites in remote areas. Usually our tours take 10-16 days but some tours into the breeding areas need to be tailored around local conditions and require a much longer stay for at least 5-6 up to 8 weeks in remote breeding areas. We partner with our country experts but all our tours will be also accompanied by a wildlife specialist.
